Privacy policy

Spawnface · last updated 20 October 2026

Spawnface turns your webcam into a live avatar for streaming. This policy explains what the app and our servers collect, why, and what you can do about it. The app is made by [Company name] ([Company address]), which is responsible for your data. Questions: [contact email].

Your camera and microphone stay on your PC

Face tracking, hand tracking and lip sync run entirely on your computer. Camera frames and microphone audio are processed in memory to move your avatar and are never uploaded, recorded or stored by us. Only the avatar's movement leaves the tracker, and only to apps on your own PC (OBS Studio or Streamlabs).

On your PC

The app stores your sign-in and the characters you own on your computer, encrypted so only your Windows account can read them. The tracker writes diagnostic logs (frame timings, how often your face was found) to your PC; they are not sent to us.

Who helps us

Some of these providers may process data outside your country, including in the United States, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

Legal basis (EU/EEA and UK)

We process account and purchase data to perform our contract with you, keep purchase records to meet legal obligations, and keep short-term logs for our legitimate interest in running a secure service.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or delete your data, and object to or restrict its use. You can delete your account at any time in the app (the version sticker → Delete my account) or by emailing [contact email]. You may also complain to your data protection authority.

Children

Spawnface is not meant for children under 16. We don't knowingly collect data from them; if you believe a child has signed up, contact us and we'll delete the account.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app for significant changes.
